We rented a pontoon for 8 hours to take out on the Intercoastal Waterway. Action Water Sportz had the cheapest price around.

 

Derick helped us get onto our boat & he was SO helpful. He gave us the overview of the boat, which we expected, but also gave us great advice on the tides. Derick told us to check on our boat every 20 minutes, as we would be pontooning while the tide was going out. He told us it’s easy to get stranded because the water can drop off very quickly.

 

He dropped a pin on my phone to make sure we knew the best place to park on Bird Island so we wouldn’t get stuck as the tide went out.

 

We were VERY thankful for that advice & help because we saw another pontoon boat (from a different rental company) completely beached. The tow boat came out to tow the boat back, but the cable snapped & they were stranded.
